Policy on Handling Personal Information

The "World Hydrogen Expo / H2 MEET Organizing Committee" (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") values customers' personal information and complies with the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection". Through this Privacy Policy, the Company informs you of the purposes and methods for which the personal information you provide is being used, as well as the measures being taken to protect your personal information. If the Company amends this Privacy Policy, it will notify you through website announcements (or individual notices).

The Company utilizes the collected personal information for the following purposes.

- To provide various guidance and information related to participating in and attending exhibitions, conferences, and events

■ Items of Personal Information Collected

The Company collects the following personal information for registration, consultations, and service applications.

Collected Items : Name, Gender, Mobile, E-mail, Company Name, Department, Position, Tel., Access Logs, Cookies, IP Information, etc.

Method of Collection : Website (Pre-registration for Visitors, Consultation Reservations, Submission of Manuscripts from Exhibitors and Speakers)

■ Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

In principle, after the purposes of collecting and using personal information are achieved, the relevant information will be destroyed without delay. However, the following information will be retained for the period specified below for the stated reasons.

Retained Items : Name, Gender, Mobile, E-mail, Company Name, Department, Position, Tel.

Grounds for Retention : for Service Improvement, Survey Statistics, and Guidance for Next Events

Retention Period : Approximately 1 year - within 1 month after the End of the Following year's Exhibition

■ Entrustment of Personal Information Processing

To improve services, this exhibition entrusts the processing of personal information as follows, and stipulates necessary matters during entrustment contracts to ensure that personal information is managed safely in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The entities entrusted with personal information processing by this exhibition and the details of their entrusted duties are as follows.

Entrusted Contractor : World Hydrogen Expo / H2 MEET Organizing Committee (Korea Automobile & Mobility Association)

Details of Entrusted Duties : Entrustment of Registration System Operation, Provision of Digital Business Card System Services, etc.

Retention and Use Period of Personal Information : Until the Termination of the Entrustment Contract

■ Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices

1) To provide convenient and useful services, this exhibition utilizes a digital business card system that provides visitor information to exhibitors. - A digital business card system is a system that saves information stored on an entrance badge into a terminal and delivers that information to the user.

2) Personal information of visitors collected through the digital business card system will be utilized for the exhibitors' marketing purposes.

3) Visitors have the right to choose whether or not to use the digital business card system. If a visitor tags their entrance badge on a terminal provided by an exhibitor, it will be deemed that they have consented to the collection of their personal information.

The collected personal information will be used strictly within the scope notified in the "Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information" and will not be used beyond this scope or provided to other individuals, companies, or organizations. However, for the objective verification of the exhibition, information may be provided to the Association of Korean Exhibition Industry (AKEI). The provided personal information will absolutely never be used for any purpose other than exhibition verification.

■ Responsibility for Personal Information Management

In protecting the personal information used in this exhibition, the Chief Privacy Officer of this exhibition shall bear all responsibilities if any accident occurs contrary to the matters notified to users. However, despite technical supplementary measures, the exhibition is not responsible for information damage caused by unexpected accidents arising from fundamental network risks such as hacking, or for various disputes caused by posts written by visitors.
